位於Mesa市的湄公河廣場(Mekong Plaza)近日迎來盛大擴建,投資額高達1000萬美元,新增面積約32,000平方英尺,引入12家全新商戶,並創造近200個就業崗位。Mesa市政府舉行剪綵活動,共同慶祝Asian District的重要發展里程碑。當地知名企業譚華參茸行东主谭小姐Fanny 受Mesa市政府邀請,出席此次剪綵活動,共同慶祝Asian District的重要發展里程碑。

此次擴建項目吸引了多家全球知名餐飲品牌首次進駐美國梅薩(Mesa, AZ),包括海底撈火鍋(Haidilao Hot Pot)和港式茶餐廳(Hong Kong Cafe)。此外,其他新商戶還包括台灣甜品店「Meet Fresh」、東京烏冬面餐廳「Udon Shin」、Miniso零售連鎖、韓式炸雞店BB.Q Chicken、越南餐廳ANH、韓式甜品「Snowy Village」、照片工作室「Cloud Studio」、抓娃娃遊戲廳Claw Arcade、港式茶餐廳Hong Kong Cafe以及餃子館Mama Lu's Dumpling House等。

Mesa市長Mark Freeman表示:「作為Mesa市市長,我非常自豪地見證Mekong Plaza及Asian District的持續成長與發展。此次擴建反映了企業家精神、努力工作以及強大的社區合作,這些都讓Mesa成為一個適合生活、工作和養育家庭的優秀城市。這次擴建增加了32,000平方英尺的新空間,引入12家新商戶,包括海底撈火鍋(Haidilao Hot Pot)、Miniso和烏冬面餐廳Udon Shin,並創造約200個新就業機會。這些都是實實在在的投資,有助於強化家庭、支持小型企業並促進本地經濟增長。」

Mesa市議員Francisco Heredia在聲明中表示:「Asian District持續作為Mesa市的文化和經濟中心蓬勃發展,Mekong Plaza的擴建進一步強化了這一勢頭。該項目不僅促進本地經濟發展,為小型企業提供新機遇,也展現了我們社區充滿活力的多元文化。」

Mekong Plaza的擴建剪綵儀式於11月24日上午11點在138 S. Dobson Rd., Mesa, AZ舉行,吸引社區成員、合作夥伴及市政府官員共同參與,共慶Asian District持續繁榮的發展。

Mekong Plaza Expansion Opens in Mesa, Adding 12 New Businesses and Nearly 200 Jobs
The Mekong Plaza in Mesa recently celebrated a major expansion, with a $10 million investment adding 32,000 square feet of new space, 12 new businesses, and nearly 200 new jobs. The City of Mesa held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark this important milestone for the Asian District. Fanny Tam, owner of the well-known local business TanHua Inc, was invited by the City of Mesa to attend the ceremony and join in celebrating the continued growth of the Asian District.
The expansion brings several internationally recognized brands to Mesa for the first time, including Haidilao Hot Pot and Hong Kong Café. Other new businesses include the Taiwanese dessert shop Meet Fresh, Tokyo-based Udon Shin, the Miniso retail chain, BB.Q Chicken, ANH Vietnamese cuisine, Snowy Village Korean desserts, Cloud Studio photo booth, Claw Arcade, Mama Lu’s Dumpling House, and more.

Mesa Mayor Mark Freeman stated, “As Mayor of Mesa, I am so proud to see the continued growth and strength of Mekong Plaza and our Asian District. This expansion reflects the hard work, entrepreneurship, and strong community partnerships that make Mesa a great place to live, work, and raise a family. The expansion adds 32,000 square feet of new space, brings in 12 new businesses, including Haidilao Hot Pot, Miniso, Udon Shin, and creates around 200 new jobs. These are real investments that strengthen families, support small businesses, and grow our local economy.”
Mesa City Councilmember Francisco Heredia also shared: “The Asian District continues to thrive as a cultural and economic hub in Mesa, and the Mekong Plaza expansion reinforces that momentum. This project strengthens our local economy, creates opportunities for small businesses, and celebrates the vibrant diversity that defines our community.”
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Mekong Plaza expansion took place on November 24 at 11 a.m. at 138 S. Dobson Rd., Mesa, AZ, drawing community members, partners, and city officials to celebrate the ongoing growth and success of the Asian District.
