Tan Hua Inc. Hosts 23rd Wellness Tea Gathering Tea, Health Tips, and a Warm Community Atmosphere
On April 18, Tan Hua Inc. successfully hosted its 23rd “Tea & Wellness Gathering.” The event had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, attracting many community members who came to enjoy traditional Chinese tea culture and learn about health and wellness.
The event was personally hosted by the owner, Fanny. She shared practical wellness tips and also prepared a nourishing herbal sweet soup for guests to try. The soup included ingredients such as coix seed, lotus seeds, astragalus root, Chinese yam, goji berries, dried longan, aged tangerine peel, poria, sea coconut, and pork, all slow cooked to create a light, naturally sweet flavor. It is believed to support digestion and boost overall energy. Fanny explained that gentle, nourishing soups like this work best over time, helping the body gradually restore balance.

During the event, several customers shared their personal health experiences. One woman spoke about her struggle with severe bleeding caused by uterine fibroids, which left her extremely weak. “My skin was pale and yellowish, and I could barely walk or function normally,” she said. She had already undergone two blood transfusions and hoped to avoid a third.
Through her daughter’s introduction, she met Fanny and began trying herbal teas and soups. “They really helped me,” she recalled. When they met again later, Fanny noticed a clear improvement, saying, “You finally have color in your face!” Over time, her energy returned, her pain eased, and her overall condition improved significantly.
Fanny also shared a touching story about this same customer. On the shop’s first anniversary, despite not being financially well-off, the customer brought a large box of apples as a gift. “I was truly moved by her kindness,” Fanny said. In return, she later gifted the customer herbal soup ingredients.

In addition to wellness discussions, Fanny introduced Pu-erh tea culture and presented a 2019 aged ripe Pu-erh tea called “King Pu-erh Cake.” Made from old arbor tea trees, the tea has a rich, smooth taste with a deep, aged aroma. Fanny explained that Pu-erh tea improves with age and is especially enjoyable after meals for a refreshing feeling.
During the tea session, Fanny also demonstrated traditional Gongfu tea brewing techniques, allowing guests to appreciate both the art and depth of Chinese tea culture. Many attendees said they not only learned useful health tips but also gained a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture.

Tan Hua Inc. has long been committed to serving the community and promoting healthy living along with traditional Chinese wellness practices. Fanny shared that her goal is to help more people pay attention to their health and understand the benefits of herbal and tea-based wellness. On September 22 this year, Tan Hua Inc. will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Looking ahead, she hopes to continue giving back to the community by hosting more events like this and sharing the value of traditional culture with a wider audience.
