(Summer of a Million Meals)中的积极参与与慷慨捐助。

United Food Bank

Fanny Tan

United Food Bank Sends Thank-You Letter to Chinese

Community Organizations for Their Contributions to the

"Summer of a Million Meals" Campaign

Recently, United Food Bank in Arizona sent a special thank-you letter to Chinese community organizations, showing appreciation for their generous support in this year’s “Summer of a Million Meals” campaign. The letter, signed by Community Engagement Director Mandy Hodges, praised the Chinese community organizations for stepping up with care, generosity, and a big heart for kids in need.

In the letter, United Food Bank shared how the efforts of these organizations helped provide meals to thousands of children and families across Arizona. “Your support shows true generosity and deep compassion for our community,” the letter read. “It’s something that truly inspires all of us.”

One quote stood out to the organization. Fanny Tan, owner of Tan Hua Inc., said in a local Chinese newspaper, “No matter the amount, every donation is filled with love.” United Food Bank called it a perfect example of the spirit behind the campaign — reminding everyone that giving is not about how much you give, but the heart behind it.

United Food Bank has been serving Arizona families for years, distributing millions of meals through local partner organizations. With rising living costs, they rely more than ever on people and groups stepping in to help.

“It’s an honor to be part of this meaningful cause alongside our Chinese community organizations,” Fanny Tan shared. “I hope more people will join us to spread kindness and help those who need it most.”
